Marcus is a small team in Tallinn. We're hiring people who'd rather ship than meet about shipping. Remote-first across the EU, async-default, with a real office for the days when video calls aren't enough.
Open roles
Generic JD-speak doesn't help anyone. These are honest descriptions of what you'd actually do.
Engineering · Remote EU · €72–95K
Own the generation pipeline end-to-end: prompt routing, model orchestration, post-processing, hosted runtime. You'd be working alongside the founder on the parts that still hurt — slow first generations on complex prompts, the edge cases where output isn't valid HTML, the migration to streaming partials. TypeScript on Node, Postgres, Anthropic API.
Apply →Design · Remote EU · €58–78K
Own the look and feel of every site Marcus generates. You'd write the design tokens and the layout patterns the model is allowed to produce, audit the worst-rated outputs, and iterate the system so the next thousand generations look better. Strong typographic and grid sense; comfortable in code (you don't need to ship JS, but you need to read what Marcus generates).
Apply →Growth · Tallinn or remote EU · €55–80K + variable
Own the funnel from blog post to first revenue. Today: run paid acquisition on three platforms, write the comparison pages we need to rank for, and ship the first community-led content programme. You report to the founder; you'd be the second commercial hire. Comfortable with both content and spreadsheets.
Apply →How we work
Two scheduled meetings a week — Monday plan, Friday demo. Everything else happens in writing or recorded video. The team currently spans GMT–1 to GMT+3.
No two-week sprints, no quarterly planning theatre. Every Monday you sign up for what you'll have shipped by Friday. You explain on Friday. We've kept that cadence since the company started.
Each role above includes meaningful early-stage equity with a four-year vest. We share the option-pool size, the cap table, and the most recent valuation in the offer letter.
25 days, in addition to local public holidays. Nobody emails you on holiday. The founder takes their days; that sets the norm.
Mail us with a link to something you've shipped and one paragraph on what role you'd invent. We read every one.
